Students at St Paul’s Catholic College achieved exceptional GCSE results this year
35% of students gaining grades 9-7, equivalent to A* and A. 76% of all grades were grades 9-5, a significant increase of 11%. 88% of students gained a 9-4 grade overall, seeing all their hard work pay off.
These results are the fruits of the hard work, dedication, and motivation of the students in all they have done during their time at St Paul’s. The blessing of supportive families and inspiring teaching and support has once again paid off in results that make us all proud.
Stand-out performances came from Kendra Awuye, Benjy Budibent, George Crofts, Anna Duncan, Jaden Galicia, Isabella Harmey, Sophia Hermoso, Hannah-Ela Liley Caicedo, Harvey Machimbidza, Joel Martin, Holly Reilly, Ava Symons and Harry Vernall who all achieved 10 or more top grades at 9-7.
We are so pleased to see the joyful celebration of the students today. Year 11 did us all so proud in what they have achieved in their GCSEs and will go on to great things. We look forward to welcoming many of them back to life in the 6th form.

Dominique Bell, Head of 6th form and Assistant Headteacher, said, “We are so proud of all of our students and are thrilled to see that their hard work and effort over the last few years has paid off. We wish them all the best for their next steps and are looking forward to hearing about what they go on to achieve next.”

We are overjoyed to share in the happiness and success of the results with the students at GCSE. We know exam results do not define them but they have all flourished and developed with us. We wish them every happiness and success in the next chapter at 6th form and beyond.
