On the 2nd October; the Feast of the Holy Guardian Angels, a group of pupils from years 7 & 9 joined secondary school students from across the Diocese for their annual pilgrimage in Arundel.
Bishop Richard led the pilgrims in prayer before they set off across Arundel Park, with the walk followed by Mass celebrated at Arundel Cathedral.
The pilgrimage helps student representatives from the Diocese’s secondary schools to gain an appreciation of their place in our diocesan family, meeting with students from other schools and exploring their faith. Each student was able to create a prayer on their own wooden ‘guardian angel’ which they were able to take away with them.
‘The pilgrimage was a good day. It was great meeting up with other schools, having Mass together and making our Guardian Angels.’
