Parallel Youth Games

Ten students from year 10 who have gained Junior Sports Leader status put their skills to good use by  helping  to run the Parallel Youth Games at the Olympos sports complex in Burgess Hill.

Students ran a range of activities including New Age Kurling, Boccia and Swimming for children with disabilities.

“Amazing and inspirational.”
“A great day to remember, I would do it again!”

Year 8 Rounders

With only 7 players the girls turned up to play for fun and enjoy rounders in the sun. But after winning our 1st game against the Weald School, the girls remained unbeaten against Imberhorne, Hazelwick and Tanbridge finishing at the top of the pool.

Our girls progressed to the Semi-Finals where they were unfortunately beaten to a very worthy Burgess Hill for Girls team.

Congratulations and well done to Player of the Tournament Claire Griffiths, Alice Burke (Captain), Flora Neil, Sophie Fraser, Gemma Fraser, Freya Jackson and Joshna Aloor.

Miss L. Birkhead.
