Record Breaking Results at St Paul's

Students and staff at St Paul’s Catholic College in Burgess Hill have been celebrating the highest ever A level results achieved. 59% of students achieved A*-B grades, 82% A*-C grades and the pass rate was 100%.

A new addition this year was the introduction of A* grades and 7% of all exams were awarded the top grade, which was given to only the highest performing candidates nationally. A total of 27% of all grades were A*-A.

Student Opening Results

A number of students achieved exceptional grades including:

  • Lauren Stokeld – 3 A* grades who goes on to study German and French at Cambridge University.
  • Josh Mills and Eloisa Tovey – 2 A* and 1 A grade
  • Gemma Hatton, 1 A*, 2 A grades and one B grade
  • Hannah Carey, Hannah Connolly and Beth Humphrey who all achieved 1 A* and 2 A grades
  • Keri George, Christine Humphrey, Alex Mullany who were awarded 3 A grades
