Year 8 Rounders Tournament

Over the last two weeks year 8 have been battling it out for the title of ‘Rounders Champion’. Organised by the year 13 HSLA (sports leader) students, each tutor produced a team and delegated positions.

With some spectacular hits and almighty catches it’s no wonder that both semi-finals were won by just half a rounder! Ultimately, however, only one team could steel the title and while Miss Langridge’s tutor put up an almighty fight it was Miss Geraghty’s tutor that walked away with the win!

Thanks go to all the teams; the tutors for their support; the HSLA students for organising the event; and the weather for staying sunny!
