First Round of Year 10 Tennis

The year 10 tennis team were in action today in their first match of the Nestle tennis tournament. After last years success when we won the B League, it was also a chance to play against better opposition.

Angmering have been a strong sports school in Sussex for a number of years so we know it was going to a be a stuff start. Top seed Jonny Pickering played an epic singles match against the Angerming number 1, finishing 6-4 to us. In the other games and the doubles we were not so luckily losing 6-0, 6-1 and 6-3.

Never mind. Downlands are our next opponents a week on Wednesday.
