Year 8 Indoor Cricket

The year 8 cricket team started the new season with an indoor tournament hosted by Oakmeeds in Burgess Hill. It was an 8 a side pairs tournament with 5 ball overs. Batsman lost 3 runs for being out in their 2 over limit and the team with the most runs at the end would win the game.

We played some stiff opposition but managed victories over Oakmeeds B, Oathall B and Downlands. However this was not quite enough to win the tournament, although 3rd place finish is a good start to the season
