Interactive Whiteboards

Every teaching room in the school has an interactive whiteboard, used to deliver stimulating visual and audio content. The interactive whiteboards combine the functionality of a computer, whiteboard, touch screen, projector and television to deliver a broad range of teaching and learning materials. All staff are trained to use the interactive whiteboards effectively and students enjoy participating in activities using the boards.

ICT Infrastructure

At St Paul's we've installed the latest cutting-edge technology. We are able to boast a high speed network with more than 250 brand new desktop computers and flat screen panels. Each computer is loaded with sophisticated educational software and specialist programs. The wireless network means that students with laptops can access Internet based resources like the VLE from anywhere in the school.

The new building boasts the following:

  • A Sixth form centre for the town of Burgess Hill as well as our own students from a wider catchment area.
  • An emphasis on E-learning, with interactive whiteboards in every classroom, and a wireless network.
  • An extra curricular afternoon for all students.
  • Disabled access.
  • Photovoltaic cells-to generate electricity.
  • Computer controlled under floor heating throughout 134 separate zones.
  • The same caring friendly atmosphere transferred from our previous site.
  • An aim to improve upon our current very high academic standards and results.

  • A sports hall.
  • A drama studio.
  • A main hall.
  • A dining room with a cashless smart card system.
