The Oasis Restaurant has seating for 100 students and offers a wide variety of food throughout break and lunchtimes. A rolling break system reduces the number of students in the restaurant at any one time.

Menu and Prices

The menu for the Oasis Restaurant works on a four week cycle. You can view or download the restaurant menu or the price list. These are subject to change without notice.

Cashless Catering

We introduced a Cashless Catering system in the College. Each student has been issued with a Smart Card. Parents are asked to send in money which is credited to their card. Parents can control how much your child spends in the Oasis each day. You will, therefore, be able to ensure that your child actually spends the money on food from the restaurant. Free school meal children will have their card credited automatically each day, so all students will use their cards in the same way.  

Students are able to top up their Smart Card during break and lunchtimes by going to the Main Reception.

Water

Drinking water is available from any cold tap in the College. A tap is provided in The Oasis for students to fill their water bottles or get a drink of water free of charge. A vending machine offering bottles of water for sale is available in the corridor near The Oasis.

Vending Machines

Vending machines offering bottled water and cold drinks are located in the corridor near The Oasis Restaurant. These machines only accept cash, so students will not be able to make purchases using their Smart Cards.

Fairtrade vending machines are provided in the Sixth Form Common Room for the exclusive use of Sixth Formers, offering hot and cold drinks.
